Why electric
The case is simpler than it sounds
An electric motor has a fraction of the moving parts of a combustion engine. No oil changes, no filters, no exhaust, no spark plugs. Less to service, and less to go wrong on roads that punish machinery.
Charging costs are tied to electricity rather than the pump, which changes the arithmetic of running a vehicle every day. In a market where fuel is a daily calculation, that matters.
Fewer parts
No engine oil, no timing belt, no exhaust system. Fewer components is fewer failures, and fewer trips to a mechanic.
Running costs
Energy instead of fuel. What a vehicle costs to move changes when it stops depending on the pump price.
Quiet and clean
No emissions at the tailpipe and almost no noise. In traffic that goes nowhere for an hour, both are worth something.

VYL Auto is Value Your Life VYL EV Limited, registered in Nigeria. We are in build: working out the vehicles, the charging, the servicing and the money, in the order that makes sense for a country where none of that infrastructure can be assumed.
